The introducing here is the most tipical Japanese way of fishing in mountain streams.
In recent 30 years, a fly or a spining tackle is familier for stream fishing as same as in U.S.
But, a tipical fishing way in Japan shown here is different and has more than hundreds of years of history before any fishing tackles found in western countries such as England or U.S.A.
A tipical target to catch is salmonidos YAMAME (the species only live in Japan) and IWANA (this is a family of Charr.)
They usually use 15-20 foot long and less than a half of pound of weight fishing rod. Did you know that?
